In 2011, DKNY divulged its brilliant apple-formed million dollar bottle of perfume. The organization collaborated with celebrated around the world gems planner Martin Katz to make an exceptional unique version of the organization’s top-offering aroma.

The perfume is created in 14-karat yellow and white gold and contains 183 yellow sapphires, 2,700 white precious stones, a 1.6-carat turquoise Paraiba tourmaline from Brazil, a 7.18-carat oval Cabochon sapphire from Sri Lanka, 15 striking pink jewels from Australia, 4-rose cut precious stones, a 3.07-carat oval cut ruby, a 4.03-carat pear shape rose cut jewel, and a 2.43-carat perfect clear yellow Canary precious stone embellishing the cap.All taking all things together, the bottle contains 2,909 valuable stones, yet the best part is that the previously stated stones have been hand set to recreate the New York City horizon.

The procedure took almost 1,500 hours to finish. In the wake of being uncovered and showcased over the globe, a silver coating for the ludicrously costly perfume bottle was reported: The bottle would be sold to an aroma devotee and all returns would be given to the worldwide philanthropy Action against Hunger.

2. Clive Christian No. 1 Imperial Majesty Perfume – $12,721.89 per ounce

A 500 ml release known as Clive Christian No. 1 – Imperial Majesty will set you back approximately $215,000.  This fantastic edition comes in a French Baccarat crystal flaçon.

According to the same source, the bottle is made of, “a material which is so difficult to work with that one of every three attempts breaks during the production process. The neck of the bottle is fashioned after the coronation tiara of the British queen and is made of 18-carat gold inset with a five-carat brilliant-cut diamond. This collar is later engraved with the owner’s name.”

This one-of-a-kind bottle is then gently placed into a velvet-lined ebony case with gold and platinum details.

Clive Christian No. 1 Perfume Imperial Edition was released in a limited edition of only 10 bottles, of which 5 were stored in the archives.  Of course, these can be customized for clients.  The rumor is that Sir Elton John had his fragrance in a bottle shaped like a piano.  Katie Holmes reportedly wore Clive Christian No. 1 at her wedding to Tom Cruise.

3. Baccarat Les LarmesSacrees de Thebes – $6,800 per ounce

Paying ode to ancient Egypt, Baccarat’s Sacred Tears of Thebes (translated), is available in a limited-to-6 edition, which is instantly recognisable by its pyramid-shaped bottle.

Baccarat in clear, amethyst, and yellow crystal form various facets of the flacon which holds frankincense and myrrh—rumored to have the ability to evoke the ancient Egyptians

4. Chanel Grand Extrait – $4,200 per ounce

Chanel has been synonymous with extravagance far and wide since the time that Coco Chanel discharged the famous aroma, Chanel No. 5, in 1921 – made by fanciful perfumer Ernest Beaux.

This constrained release aroma was discharged as the rarest, purest Original No. 5 fragrance on the planet, thus its $4,200/ounce sticker. Each one jug is made through moulds, which profits from a glassmaker’s individual touch, and a Chanel representative has said that “not very many pieces are created” every year.

The botanical fragrance is made with impeccable consideration. Rose and jasmine from Chanel’s proprietary fields in France go into the fragrance.

5. Clive Christian No. 1 – $2,150 per ounce

Clive Christian is an extraordinary name in the extravagance perfume industry, and this specific scent was even viewed as the most lavish fragrance on the planet between 2001 (when it was dispatched) and 2006.

Clive Christian No. 1 comes in two assortments: Woody Oriental for men, and Floral Oriental for ladies. The mark container is made from lead precious stone and is beautified with a 1/3 carat jewel on the neck. The aroma of the perfume is rich and impeccable, joining bergamot, common gum pitch, orris, vanilla, sandalwood, and concentrates of ylang.
